Heidi H     Bello hospital is so vital to the town and surrounding communities. I tried to have my baby there but due to needing intervention was taken to coffs. Although I am greatful we have coffs hospital I will forever be greatful for being able to walk around the beautiful gardens at brdh during labour and having the opportunity to get to know the midwives there during anti-natal class. 

We were transferred back to bello where my husband was allowed to stay, we had our own room and I was allowed to open a window! All things not allowed at coffs. 

I really hope that I will be able to have my next baby there.

Coffs A&E already has extremely long waiting times, closing Bello hospital with just exacerbate every problem with Coffs hospital...its hard to understand NSW thinking.

Cely O'N I've had 4 ops in day surgery in Bello Hospital and the staff there are excellent........I've also had a major op at Coffs and I say the same about them......But we definitely need Bello Hospital to say open........it's such a beautiful place to be when you need care.....

there are too many hospitals closing and too many hospital cuts!! then we see on the news that N.S.W, are the worst hoapitals in Australia for waiting lists & mistakes happening!!! well its no wonder when this is allowed to happen. something needs to shake this government up

I have lived in bellingen for 13 years. I am 19 years old and fell pregnant with my first at 16, having my son at bellingen hospital was a must for me! I am now 1 week from having my 2nd and not being able to go to Bellingen hospital is very upsetting :(

Patsy-ann E is wondering if Bello hospital closes down how are chronic asthmatics and those with heart trouble going to get to Coffs hospital in time....it can take just 10 minutes for a child with chronic asthma to crash...I have experienced an emergency like this once I really do not want to experience it again having a child almost die in your arms is a horrifying time...we NEED Bello hospital how many innocent people will have to die before the powers that be acknowledge this fact
