Hayley D I have seen many friends, family and myself come and leave Bellingen hospital.. i have seen babies born into life and the elderly leave. Hospitals are wonderful and they were all put in their places for a reason just like Bellingen.. Tell me, whats meant to happen when a a child is bitten by a deadly snake further out of town.. sometimes all it takes is 20mins.. How long does it take to run to the phone.. wait for someone to answer a phone.. organise a helicopter.. get in the air get to the child.. attend to them and flyt back to the hospital in coffs? i think alot longer then it would be for a mother to drive their child to the hospital where they would be seen to asap. Need i say more. I say keep bellingen hospital operating.
