My Dad was on the Hospital Board for over 40 years. What about the legacy that Dr Hewitt and Dr Dunn left the community. Dr Hewitt and his botanical interests and Dr Dunn with his interest in new birthing techniques. I remember when my youngest daughter had her tonsils out in Bellingen. Something like 40 degrees and the air conditioning in the childrens ward broke down. Craig Neill's daughter was in at the same time.
