Joanna  In the October holidays a young family from Sydney stopped at The Point to have a swim and fun on the ropes. Their little girl cut both her feet severely on smashed bottles on the water's edge ( grrrrrr). I saw their distress and took the Mum and injured girl to Bellingen hospital. She was bleediing profusely. She made a full recovery - maybe a different story if she had to travel to Coffs....I felt proud of our wonderful little hospital and her amazing staff that greeted and attended this visiting family that day.
