Cath  bellingen hospital is so important to me and all of the wider community. I assisted at two births at the hospital in the past 20 years. My family and i have all stayed in the hospital at some point in time its a vital communiity asset and should no way be down graded to a multi purpose centre like dorrigo hospital has become! Has anyone ever been to macksville hospital its so outdated and run down and unclean. Why should all the smaller hospitals continuously have therir usefull equipment relocated to coffs harbour?? the mind boggles ! outrageous to say the least. With the regular flooding that goes on in our region its beyond a joke to think a woman might need to birth a baby and the roads and bridges could be cut if you are lucky enough to get through then what... air lifted to coffs sounds ridiculous to me!...
